The Greek Children’s Fund was established in 1983 by Stanley Matthews, a Greek American businessman whose mission was to provide financial assistance towards the daily, non-medical needs of children of Hellenic descent and their families who suffer from cancer and life-threatening illnesses. Throughout its 40-year history, the Fund has continued to better the world and has remained an all-volunteer-run organization that raises funds through events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
